The proposed 2007 hunt dates for D13 are:
• Archery: Sept. 1 through 23.
• General/Rifle: Oct. 13 through Nov. 11. An estimated 4,000 tags will be available to rifle hunters.
• M7 Muzzleloader: Nov. 24 through Dec. 9. An estimated 150 tags will be available to muzzleloaders.

California Department of Fish and Game has two publications -- a Deer Zone Map and a Deer Zone Information sheet -- that you can download from www.dfg.ca.gov/hunting/deer/

You will need a Forest Service Adventure Pass in parts of the Los Padres National Forest.

Senior Hunters, those 62 and older, can get the new Inter-Agency Pass, which replaces the Golden Age Pass, which is still honored.
